Resources
StoryTelling & Organizing Project (STOP) brings together stories from everyday people taking action
to end interpersonal violence with the power of organizing.
Each story reveals the power of collective action – as people organize spontaneously or slowly and intentionally to come together to creatively end violence and compassionately support safety and accountability.
STOP’s collection of stories – through the Stories for Power Podcast and through the StoryTelling & Organizing Project Archive – are also useful sources of information and inspiration to build collective power – to end and prevent interpersonal violence in our communities but also in our larger project to build community power and self-determination locally and globally.

Do You Have a Story ?
The StoryTelling & Organizing Project was created to collect and share stories about everyday people taking action to end interpersonal violence.
When we talked to people about community-based responses to violence, we began to hear stories from people usually starting with the question, “You mean something like this?” What followed were stories, lots of stories — each a unique lesson in courage, creativity and collective action. We decided to collect these stories to inform and inspire our work in community accountability and transformative justice.
